Duties: |
- Reports to the Director of Workforce Development
- Plans, develops and implements workforce development programs that are market-driven and mission-based
- Plans, develops and implements college and career pathways programs
- Assists in recruiting, screening and hiring recommendations
- Ensures curriculum alignment to meet state, federal, certification and credentials organizations, business and industry needs, and collaborates with colleagues to review program completion rates and participant success
- Works with College Marketing on program promotion
- Conducts inventory of equipment and supplies, coordinates repair/maintenance as needed
- Coordinates and tracks workforce development participant’s post-graduate information
- Evaluates and recommends textbooks, materials, and supplies
- Prepares purchase orders, travel reimbursements/advances, payroll assignment forms, recap sheets, inventory of supplies and work orders
- Coordinates the day to day operations and logistical needs of assigned programs
- Monitors program expenses, reviews revenue goals and ensures surplus margins
- Prepares correspondence, reports, data collection, and database development/maintenance
- Prepares course description copy for publication, reviews and edits copy and ensures timely and accurate submission of materials
- Provides coordination for assigned Workforce Development functions and programs
- Creates course schedules and prepares course materials for instructors for on-site and off-site program delivery
- Maintains academic standards of quality
- Responds to the potential participant and general inquiries and resolves complaints/problems
- Uses College’s student and financial information system to run reports
- Represents Atlantic Cape and Workforce Development at internal and external events
- Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Serves as back up for other Workforce Development members as assigned
- Performs all other related duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements: |
- Bachelor degree
- Two years of experience in program development and/or implementation for adult education, training or related field
- Experience working with budgets
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and ability to work with databases
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to deliver speaking presentations to small and large audiences

This position requires scheduling to include evenings and weekends and duties at any Atlantic Cape campus and other locations related to the delivery of Workforce Development Programs |
