Duties:
  • Reports to the Director of the Center for Student Success
  • Follows policies, procedures and guidelines to perform required functions while adhering to FERPA
  • Processes Student Support Services (SSS) program applications; utilizes the college’s data management system to maintain accurate records
  • Provides direct administrative support to the Director of the Center for Student Success and supports program staff
  • Coordinates services for the SSS program and reception area to assist in the achievement of the SSS program, Center for Student Success department and college goals
  • Provides courteous customer service.  Answers telephone calls, take messages and retrieves voicemail and provides information as directed
  • Assists with the preparation, organization, and delivery of materials for meetings and events
  • Compiles and maintains packets for orientation, workshops and activities
  • Assists with the processing of financial aid appeals
  • Assists with the workflow for work study students
  • Maintains files and financial documents as well as sustain inventory of program office supplies
  • Sort/distribute mail and faxes
  • Maintains bulletin boards, creates flyers and publicizes student workshops and programs
  • Processes requisitions and purchase orders
  • Provides back-up support for the Center for Accessibility program
  • other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED 
  • Associate's degree preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge of Ellucian's Colleague Management information preferred.
  • Sensitivity to the needs of a diverse population.e population. 
  • Demonstrated organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team centered environment

This position requires flexible scheduling to include evenings and weekends and duties at any Atlantic Cape location.
