Duties: |
- Reports to the Director of the Center for Student Success
- Follows policies, procedures and guidelines to perform required functions while adhering to FERPA
- Processes Student Support Services (SSS) program applications; utilizes the college’s data management system to maintain accurate records
- Provides direct administrative support to the Director of the Center for Student Success and supports program staff
- Coordinates services for the SSS program and reception area to assist in the achievement of the SSS program, Center for Student Success department and college goals
- Provides courteous customer service. Answers telephone calls, take messages and retrieves voicemail and provides information as directed
- Assists with the preparation, organization, and delivery of materials for meetings and events
- Compiles and maintains packets for orientation, workshops and activities
- Assists with the processing of financial aid appeals
- Assists with the workflow for work study students
- Maintains files and financial documents as well as sustain inventory of program office supplies
- Sort/distribute mail and faxes
- Maintains bulletin boards, creates flyers and publicizes student workshops and programs
- Processes requisitions and purchase orders
- Provides back-up support for the Center for Accessibility program
- other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements: |
- High School diploma or GED
- Associate's degree preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office products.
- Knowledge of Ellucian's Colleague Management information preferred.
- Sensitivity to the needs of a diverse population.e population.
- Demonstrated organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team centered environment

This position requires flexible scheduling to include evenings and weekends and duties at any Atlantic Cape location.
