Emergency Closings

In the event of bad weather or any emergency, Atlantic Cape campus closings are announced on the homepage, Facebook page, Instagram page and via Text alert. Please sign up for text alerts through our opt-in page. 

These should be noted carefully as the closings may be for different sites or morning, afternoon or evening classes only. If a "delayed opening" is announced, the College will open at 11 a.m.

Atlantic Cape feels that students have the right to decide whether extreme weather and road conditions prevent them from attending classes when the college is open. Students who miss a class must still complete assignments.

When individual classes are canceled due to an instructor's absence, a notice will be posted on the classroom door. The faculty member should be contacted for further instructions.
