Duties:
  • Reports to the Assistant Director of Adult Basic Education/ESL/HSE
  • Provides instruction for Adult Basic Education programs as directed and uses effective teaching methods
  • Responsible for monitoring and submitting daily sign-in sheets and other required forms in support of the program and documenting the progress of the students
  • Performs related duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Teaching background in Adult Basic Education or K-12
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to assist students.
  • Ability to follow a lesson plan.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and aptitude to work with people in diverse populations.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization, internal and external groups, including students, program team.
Note: Must be available to evenings (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 6-9 p.m.) at any Atlantic Cape location.
