Duties:	Reports to the Director or Assistant Director of Academic Support Services Leads informal content review sessions for various chemistry courses, particularly Intro to College Chemistry and General Chemistry 1 and 2. Prepares materials in advance for review session instruction. This may include outlines, summaries, examples, and practice exercises. Locates and shares online resources and/or media/videos to help students with course topics. Communicates with instructors on a weekly basis to stay up to date on the current topics, assignments, upcoming assessments, projects, lab reports, etc. Leads and encourages group discussions and collaboration with students in attendance. Promotes an inviting and non-intimidating learning environment Provides individual guidance to students regarding performance issues. Refers students for appropriate services such as on campus or on line tutoring. Maintains student confidentiality Keeps attendance records. Communicates with the Director or Assistant Director of Academic Support Services regularly. Produces a short summary of each week’s activities to be turned in with attendance records. Related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:	Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related discipline. Excellent communication skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
	Position may require evenings and weekends at any Atlantic Cape location
