Duties:
  • Reports to the Director, Academy of Culinary Arts 
  • Delivers curriculum, prepares classroom as well as lab and assures all supplies needed are available 
  • Develops assessments and provides a minimum of three assessments per course 
  • Ensures all materials are ADA compliant and housed on Blackboard 
  • Maintains grade book, issues course evaluations and critiques student performance daily 
  • Participates in department meetings as needed 
  • Participates in professional development opportunities

 

Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Associate’s degree in Culinary or Hospitality preferred
  • 5 years’ experience in a professional bake shop
  • Artisan Bread Baking Experience” (Preferred)
  • Valid Serve-Safe certification required
This position requires flexible scheduling to include evenings and weekends and duties at any Atlantic Cape location.
