MAYS LANDING — Registering for Fall Semester classes at Atlantic Cape Community College can understandably take a backseat during lazy, hazy days of summer trips to the beach, family barbecues and well-earned vacations. Not to worry, though. There is still time to register for fall classes at Atlantic Cape.

The full Fall Semester at the Mays Landing and Atlantic City campuses runs September 3 - December 21 while two, eight-week sessions run September 3 - October 26 and October 28 - December 21. To allow students from Cape May County to fit their college education into their seasonal work schedules, which are heavily-dependent on tourism between Memorial Day and Labor Day, the Cape May campus offers numerous classes in a streamlined, 13-week format that runs September 23 - December 2. Meanwhile, science, nursing and culinary arts classes will run on a full, 16-week schedule from September 3 - December 21.

At Atlantic Cape, you can earn your degree without the high student loan debt. Save 63% on tuition costs compared to a typical four-year institution of higher learning. Atlantic Cape offers more than 47 undergraduate degree programs, and 33 certificate and professional series programs as well.

Financial aid and Pell grants are available as well for the Fall Semester. If you earn less than $100,000, your tuition may be free or reduced through the Community College Opportunity Grant. Learn more at atlanticcape.edu/free. Flexible payment plans are also available.

To answer your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) questions, Atlantic Cape is hosting two upcoming Hands-On Financial Aid Workshops. An in-person session will be held on Thursday, July 18, 3 p.m. in Room G215 at the Mays Landing campus and virtually on Wednesday, July 24, 11:30 a.m. Space is limited, so RSVP today at atlanticcape.edu/faworkshops.

New this fall, the Cape May campus is partnering with the Cape May Point Science Center to offer an Environmental Science class with a lab component on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. Ten, $1,000 scholarships, through the generosity of the Mullock Family Endowment, are being offered to incoming Cape May and Atlantic County high school graduates who enroll in this class.

A Culinary Arts one-year certificate cohort program is also being offered this fall Cape May. New students that enroll in this program could receive a $2,500 scholarship and culinary knife set. The scholarship and knife kit offers are limited and awarded on a first come, first served basis. In order to qualify, this offer is only open to new students, who register for six culinary arts credits during the Fall Semester.

Visit our One-Stop Welcome Centers at the Mays Landing, Atlantic City and Cape May County campuses for in-person registration assistance Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Our campuses are closed Fridays for the summer through August 9. You may also register any time 24/7 online at atlanticcape.edu/register where you will find course schedules, important dates and contacts, hours of operation and more.

Atlantic Cape is also hosting another Stop, Drop, Enroll event at all three campuses on Tuesday, August 13, 3-6 p.m. Students can register for classes, get one-on-one assistance, take a campus tour, and learn about the programs and services offered at Atlantic Cape.
