MAYS LANDING — Atlantic Cape Community College’s Art Gallery is kicking off the New Year with its Faculty Selects 2022 Art Exhibit on Tuesday, January 3 on the second floor of the William J. Spangler Library in Daniel Leeds Hall (D Building) at the Mays Landing campus.
The newly-curated exhibit will showcase the creative artistry of Atlantic Cape’s art students, who completed most of the works throughout the 2022 Spring, Summer and Fall semesters. The exhibit will culminate on Wednesday, March 1 with a closing reception from 5-6:30 p.m. during which the student’s works will be juried and awards presented to the winners.
“This annual art show is an opportunity for students to show off the art that they have produced over the last year in our classes,” Professor of Art Cheryl Knowles-Harrigan said. “Many times, art is problem solving and the solutions we see are so beautiful and diverse. We look forward to this show every year with a great amount of excitement and pride.”
The Art Gallery’s winter hours between Tuesday, January 3 and Friday, January 13 are Monday through Friday 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. Regular gallery hours will resume on Tuesday, January 17 and are Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. - 6 p.m., Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., and closed on Sunday. The Art Gallery at Atlantic Cape provides students, staff, faculty, artists and the community-at-large with an experience of quality art exhibitions and programming.
