A listing of events that are open to the public for October 2019

Atlantic Cape Community College is hosting the following events during the month of October: 

Oct. 3, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.: Open House, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 3, in the Atlantic City Campus. Atlantic Cape welcomes you to attend our Fall Open House at our Atlantic City campus. Registration is recommended. Register Here: rebrand.ly/Fall19OpenHouse

Oct. 4, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.: Scramble FORE Scholarships Golf Tournament,10 a.m.-7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 4, at Cape May National Golf Club. The event draws nearly 100 players annually and is supported by a wide variety of local businesses and organizations in the form of donations, sponsorship and advertising opportunities, and player registrations.

Oct. 9, 5-6:30 p.m.: Hands-On Financial Aid Workshop, 5-6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 9, at Cape May County Campus - Room 105. Students will be able to complete their federal and state financial aid applications with the assistance of a financial aid specialist. Oct. 17, 5-6:30 p.m.: Hands-On Financial Aid Workshop, 5-6:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct 17, at Mays Landing Campus - Room G215, G Building, 2nd Floor. Oct. 19, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.: Main Course Soups Culinary Workshop, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Saturday, Oct 19, at Mays Landing Campus, M Building, Kitchen 1. Pasta Fagioli, Seafood Stew, and Chicken Escarole! Oct. 19, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.: Archery: I Shoot For The Girls, 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. Saturday Oct 19, at Mays Landing  Campus, Pitney Hall Gym Building. Atlantic Cape Archery Team Presents "I Shoot for The Girls: National Breast Cancer Foundation Fund Raiser". Registration is $25 with $20 going to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Oct. 19, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.: Fall College-Wide Open House, 11 a.m. -2 p.m., Saturday, Oct 19, at Mays Landing campus. Atlantic Cape welcomes you to attend our Fall Open House at our Mays Landing campus. Join us to meet college faculty, learn about degree and career training programs, take a student-led tour of campus, and speak with college staff for information about the enrollment process, financial aid opportunities and our Academy of Culinary Arts! Oct. 23, 5:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m.: Health Careers Information Session, 5:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, Oct 23, at Mays Landing Campus - Room C3 (C-Building). Topics covered: how to choose  and prepare for a career in healthcare, includes tour of state-of-the-arts simulation laboratory, how to choose, obtain selection to competitive, prepare for success, and climb a career ladder, review of roles and responsibilities within career routes, entry level to advanced, Workforce/Career Education certification programs and for our degree programs: Registered Nursing, Radiologic Technology with SMCSRT, and Medical Laboratory Technology with MCCC. Oct. 24, 5-6:30 p.m.: Hands-On Financial Aid Workshop, 5- 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct 24, at Atlantic City Campus - Room 132. Oct. 28, 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.: Atlantic Cape Community College Resource Fair, 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at Mays Landing Campus. Atlantic Cape has partnered with South Jersey Industries to present a series of Community Resource Fairs. Community Resources Include: Flu Shot Clinic, Division of Motor Vehicle Mobile Unit, Arrive Alive Tour Veterans Affairs, Breast Cancer Awareness, Chair Yoga with Yogini and Many More.  This event is free and open to the public.
