Atlantic County Parks Art Exhibit Sept. 27-Oct. 27

Atlantic Cape Community College’s art gallery, in partnership with Atlantic County Friends of the Parks, Inc., will host “Atlantic County Parks,” an exhibit showcasing plein air paintings, photos by Michael Hogan, and artifacts from Atlantic County Park System Collection, Sept. 27-Oct. 27.

There will be an opening reception 6-8 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 27. The exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.

The gallery is located inside the William Spangler Library, D Building, at Atlantic Cape’s Mays Landing Campus, 5100 Black Horse Pike. Gallery hours are: 9 a.m. – 7 p.m., Monday through Thursday; 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Friday; and 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., Saturday.

The gallery will host monthly exhibits of a wide variety of works including drawings, paintings, printmaking, computer arts, ceramics, sculpture, photography, mixed media, 2-D design and crafts. Showcased artists will be students, faculty and local artisans.
