Duties:
  • Reports to the Director, CMCC Student Services and Campus Management
  • Provides administrative support to faculty and campus management to include answering phones, taking messages, copies, mailboxes, and ordering supplies
  • Reports faculty absences and posts class cancellations
  • Monitors, reserves, and reassigns CMCC classroom and meeting space for credit, continuing education courses, internal and external clients in collaboration with appropriate offices
  • Prepares schedule in collaboration with Academic Affairs for the upcoming semester's credit and non-credit classes
  • Prepares Purchase Requisitions
  • Conducts campus tours
  • Prepares Information packets for faculty and adjuncts
  • Prepares flyers for events/programs
  • Performs other duties as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
  • High School diploma/GED required. Associate's Degree preferred.
  • Two years of employment experience in an administrative or office assistant role.
  • Strong computer literacy to include Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Access to reliable transportation.

This position may require flexible scheduling to include evenings and weekends at any Atlantic Cape location.
