Faculty Support Assistant (PT/Cape May Campus)

Duties:
  • Reports to the Associate Dean, Resource Development and Dean, Cape May Campus
  • Provides administrative support to the dean and faculty to include typing documents, copying, shredding, maintaining mailboxes, filing, and taking messages
  • Serves as faculty support office receptionist
  • Reports faculty absences and posts class cancellations
  • Prepares purchase requisitions for faculty support area and campus.
  • Prepares work order requests for facilities and technology set up, break-down, moves, repairs and maintenance
  • Orders office supplies and stocks classrooms with supplies
  •  Supports CMCC dean with building orientations & staff meetings
  •  Assists with all Cape May County campus activities and events
  •  Assists with Foundation events and mailings as needed
  •  Provides support for internal and external conferences, meeting services and events as needed
  •  Performs related duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Associate's degree preferred
  • Three years’ experience working in a professional office setting
  • Computer literacy to include Microsoft Office products
  • Strong communication, customer service and organizational skills
  •  Ability to multi-task
  •  Knowledge of Ellucian Colleague management information system preferred

This position may require flexible scheduling to include day, evening and weekend hours at any Atlantic Cape location.
