Duties:
  • Reports to the Assistant Director, Center for Student Success/EOF Director
  • Follows policies, procedures and guidelines to perform required functions
  • Coordinates services for Center for Student Success reception area to assist in the achievement of program and departmental and college goals 
  • Collaborates with other college departments, personnel and external agencies on various matters
  • Utilizes college data management system to maintain and analyze program and area data
  • Assists with the preparation and monitoring and maintenance of the departmental and program reports and budgets
  • Works closely with director to provide administrative support
  • Processes program and area applications, requisitions and purchase orders
  • Assists with the processing of financial aid appeals, academic appeals and mid-term progress reports
  • Compiles the CSS Newsletter
  • Assist with Student Leadership programing
  • Creates and disseminates promotional materials for area including area bulletin boards
  • Completes preventive maintenance requirements for equipment, submits repair requests and maintains equipment inventory
  • Processes area time sheet log
  • Updates area Website
  • Assists in the selection and training of work study students and part-time clerical staff
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
  • Associate’s degree 
  • Two years professional office experience (experience in higher education preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently  
  • Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office products, Colleague and WebAdvisor 
  • Demonstrated evidence of sensitivity in working with a disadvantaged and diverse student population (EOF, SSS, Gear-Up, Upward Bound, Talent Search, etc.)
This position requires flexible scheduling to include evenings and weekends and duties at any Atlantic Cape location.
