Reporting to the Director of Student Development & Judicial Officer, provides support to the director and student activities programs.

Salary: $12 per hour up 26 hours per week
Duties:
  • Provides clerical and technical support to the department including the creation of flyers and other promotional materials
  • Receives activity request forms and secures room/event locations for all SGA/Club activities and meetings
  • Updates area public displays (bulletin boards, cases and tables)
  • Assists with development of student activity programs and SGA/Club events, including but not limited to the SGA Banquet and welcome back/club recruitment events
  • Monitors the compliance of the Student Code of Conduct in the Student Life Center
  • Provides back-up coverage for SGA Advisor
  • Issues student IDs
  • Attends/travels to SGA events when needed
  • Performs duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Associate degree preferred
Experience:
  • Demonstrated experience working with a diverse population
  • Experience working in Higher Education setting preferred
  • Experience working with student groups preferred
Competencies and Skills:
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • Strong computer literacy, proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Possession of a valid New Jersey driver's license
  • Knowledge of Ellucian’s Colleague management information system preferred
Terms of Employment:
  • This position requires flexible scheduling to include evenings and weekends and duties at any Atlantic Cape location.
