Reporting to the Director of Student Development & Judicial Officer, provides support to the director and students related to judicial affairs.

Judicial Affairs Assistant (PT)

Salary: $12 per hour up 26 hours per week
Duties:
  • Schedules meetings with students pertaining to violations of the student conduct code
  • Processes paperwork in a timely manner to related to violations of the student conduct code and the student appeal process
  • Provides clerical and technical support to the Director
  • Maintains files on all disciplinary cases and tracks sanctions
  • Serves as the liaison between the student and the College Judicial Officer
  • Assists with policy, procedure and training manual revisions
  • Assists with the preparation and presentation of related workshops
  • Assists with SGA and Student Activities events as needed
  • Performs duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Associate degree preferred
Experience:
  • Demonstrated experience working with a diverse population
  • Experience working in Higher Education setting preferred
  • Experience working with student groups preferred
Competencies and Skills:
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound decisions
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • Strong computer literacy, proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to flourish in a team environment
  • Knowledge of Ellucian’s Colleague management information system preferred
Terms of Employment:
  • This position requires flexible scheduling to include evenings and weekends and duties at any Atlantic Cape location.
