Reading/Writing Skills Lab

Tutoring is done on a walk-in basis, dependent upon tutor availability. The open lab hours are posted at the entrance of each lab.

Content Tutoring

To request a tutor, please email tutoring@atlantic.edu or visit the front desk at any library location.

Supplemental Instruction

Supplemental Instruction (SI) targets traditionally difficult academic courses and provides regularly scheduled, out-of-class, peer-facilitated review sessions. SI is open to all Atlantic Cape students enrolled in the course. SI sessions are scheduled each semester according to need.

Our Policy

Tutoring is a support service and not a substitute for course instruction. The tutor will help the students to the best of his/her ability, however the students are responsible for the grades they receive in class. Students must also be currently enrolled in and actively attending the Atlantic Cape course for which they are requesting tutoring.

Efforts will be made to accommodate all student requests, but specific content courses may require more time to obtain a tutor.

Would you like to be a tutor?

If you are interested in becoming a tutor, please email Michael Sargente, program coordinator or visit the front desk at any library location.
