Student Support Services

Mission Statement

Welcome to Student Support Services, a comprehensive federally-funded, academic support program that offers a comprehensive array of services and activities to qualifying students. The services are designed to increase retention, cultural awareness and graduation and transfer rates of first generation (parents have not earned a bachelor's degree), low-income and/or disabled college students.

Services include counseling, academic advisement, workshops/seminars, tutoring, mentoring, monitoring academic progress, transfer assistance and cultural activities. Counselors work one-on-one with participants to develop an academic plan that will be used as a guide towards completing your academic goals.

Whatever the obstacle, SSS will be there for you every step of the way, from your first day at Atlantic Cape until you graduate and/or transfer.
