Atlantic Cape Community College is hosting the following events during the month of March:

March 6, 5:30-7 p.m.: An open house will be held at 5:30 p.m. on March 6 at the Charles D. Worthington Atlantic City Campus. Attendants will learn about career training programs and degree options offered at the college, meet faculty, speak with college staff about the enrollment process and more. March 13, 5:30-7:15 p.m.: Nursing and Health Careers with Atlantic Cape Infosession recommended for high school students planning to pursue Nursing, Radiologic Technology, BioMedical Science, and Health Science. Also useful for those taking prerequisites for transfer to unique allied health programs offered elsewhere, considering options in related fields (example: Dental Hygiene, Nuclear Medicine, Occupational Therapy, and more). March 20, 12:30 p.m.: Lecture, “Islamophobic Nationalism and the Terror Age” with Dr. Nazia Kazi, assistant professor of anthropology at Stockton University at 12:30 p.m. on March 20 in Room C 3 of the Mays Landing Campus.

March 21, 5:30-7 p.m.: Academy of Culinary Arts open house from 5:30-7 p.m. on March 21 in M Building of the Academy of Culinary Arts at the Mays Landing Campus. Register online at http://www.atlantic.edu/aca/visit.htm.

March 27, noon-1 p.m.: Mid Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC) Lunch and Learn program “Underground Railroad in Cape May” presented by Ted Bryan, noon-1 p.m., at the Cape May County Campus. Cost is free to MAC members and Atlantic Cape students and $5 for the general public.

March 27, 12:30-2 p.m.: Free hands-on FAFSA session for help completing a 2018-19 Free Application for Federal Student Aid, 12:30-2 p.m., at the Charles D. Worthington Atlantic City Campus. March 28, 5-6:30 p.m.: Free hands-on FAFSA session for help completing a 2018-19 Free Application for Federal Student Aid, 5:30-6 p.m., at the Charles D. Worthington Atlantic City Campus. March 28, 6 p.m.: The 35th annual Atlantic Cape Community College Restaurant Gala begins at 6 p.m. on March 28 at Harrah’s Waterfront Conference Center in Atlantic City. This year’s theme is “Culinary Magic,” showcasing the extraordinary talent and cooking expertise of the students and alumni of the Academy of Culinary Arts.
