Supports the Dean of Worthington Atlantic City Campus and Workforce Development in a wide variety of activities including but not limited to correspondence, academic and workforce support, project assistance, distribution of materials, communications, budget transfers, purchase requisitions and scheduling.

Duties: |
- Reports to the Dean, WACC & Workforce Development
- Provides administrative support for the Worthington Atlantic City Campus and Workforce Development
- Receives and handles incoming calls and provides excellent customer service
- Prepares routine correspondence, invitations, and letters
- Provides comprehensive support for all meetings and processes assigned; including but not limited to scheduling committee activities, taking minutes, scheduling rooms, and ordering food service
- Handles all travel arrangements for WACC Administration and Workforce Development
- Assists with compiling monthly reports, agendas and minutes
- Assists efforts in coordinating community wide meeting and events
- Collaborates with other college departments, personnel and external agencies on various matters
- Initiates paperless systems when appropriate, processes purchase requisitions, budget transfers, and expense vouchers
- Processes travel reimbursements, event registrations and membership renewals
- Assists with updating Campus and Workforce websites
- Provides support for special projects and event planning and execution
- Serves on College-wide committees as needed
- Operates independently, confidentially and exercises considerable judgment when executing instructions on behalf of the Vice President of Academic Affairs, Dean WACC & Workforce Development and the Director of Workforce Development
- Performs related duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements: |
- Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- 3 years’ experience in an administrative setting
- Experience with community outreach efforts
- Experience managing a highly-functioning office
- Strong technology skills to include Microsoft Office products
- Excellent writing, proofreading, organizational and clerical skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and to make independent decisions
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Ability to coordinate complex activities with multiple parties, prioritize work and meet deadlines
