Atlantic Cape Community College Restaurant Gala presents Recipe for Success

Join Us for the 36th Annual Restaurant Gala!

The Atlantic Cape Foundation, Academy of Culinary Arts, and Restaurant Gala Steering Committee invite you to attend the 36th Annual Restaurant Gala on Thursday, March 14, 2019.  This formal affair will be held at the beautiful Harrah's Waterfront Conference Center in Atlantic City.  The 2019 theme, “Recipe for Success,” will celebrate the many important “ingredients” that come together to support students attending the Academy of Culinary Arts!

CONTEST ALERT! Complete our Restaurant Gala Interest Form and be automatically entered to win lunch for four at Careme's, the gourmet, student-run restaurant at the Academy of Culinary Arts on the Mays Landing Campus!

The Restaurant Gala begins with a lavish cocktail reception featuring an extensive raw bar and hors d’oeuvres prepared by students from the Academy of Culinary Arts.  After the reception, guests enter the grand Avalon Ballroom where they will feast on original dishes from 40 of the area’s finest restaurants. Guests also have the opportunity to sample wine, beer, and spirits from local wineries, breweries, and distilleries.  An elegant dessert reception, 50/50 raffle drawing, and live entertainment by the Don't Call Me Francis Band complete the evening’s festivities.

The Restaurant Gala is the college’s key fundraising event with proceeds funding scholarships for students attending the Academy of Culinary Arts. Since its inception, the Gala has raised more than $3.5 million for scholarships through the support of the community and corporate sponsors.  The proceeds from this event will benefit students at the Academy of Culinary Arts, an emergency fund for college students, and Atlantic Cape Foundation operations.  Last year's Gala raised $214,400!

Join the celebration at South Jersey's premier food and beverage event and help ensure our future service as the “community’s college!”
