Campus Safety During COVID-19

Safety is our First Priority

Atlantic Cape is currently offering student services remotely and in-person. Administrative services are available Monday-Friday 9 a.m.- 4:30 PM on the Mays Landing campus and on specified days on the Worthington Atlantic City and Cape May Courthouse campuses. Please see the section below for more details.

Spring 2021 Semester Update: New arrival procedures will be effective on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 and details are below.

We will continue to require that anyone planning on visiting our campuses complete the Daily Health Assessment form prior to arrival. After you complete the form, if you receive a green checkmark with a confirmation code, permitting you to be on campus. When you arrive, you will have your code verified by a security guard, your temperature will be taken and a wristband will be issued.

If you receive a red stop sign, do not come to campus and follow the instructions on the screen.

If you are permitted on campus, you will receive a wristband which must be worn at all times.

Masks must be worn at all times.

The only exception is while eating or drinking. Masks should also be worn on campus grounds whenever social distancing is not possible, per the State of New Jersey's orders.

Maintain Social Distancing.

Maintain a distance of 6 ft or more between yourself and other parties. Social distancing should be maintained at all times, even when both parties are wearing masks.

Wash or Sanitize Hands Often.

Thoroughly wash your hands for at least 20 seconds whenever you are able. Hand sanitizer stations are located throughout the campus for your convenience.

Special Instructions for Visiting Each Campus

Check-in is available Monday, Wednesday & Friday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM Tuesday and Thursday.

Enter the campus from the second entrance off Route 322 heading east.

If you are visiting or have classes in J or G Building ONLY, park in parking lot 4 (the first parking lot to your left) Exit your car and approach the J Building. You must be wearing a mask when you exit your car.

  • You must check in with a security guard near the J Building entrance to verify your Daily Health Assessment Confirmation Code.
  • If you take your assessment from a computer and are unable to access your confirmation code on your phone, please either take a photo of the confirmation code to show or write it down and utilize the sign-in sheet provided.
  • There will be paper assessments available if needed prior to entry.
  • The security guard will take your temperature and issue you a wristband if your temperature is under 100.4F

If your class is in any other building or your need to visit another building (Library, Gymnasium, etc.) continue to drive onto campus, and pull up to the stop sign to meet the security guard and follow the above procedure. Please wear your mask when interacting with the security guard.

If you arrive on campus prior to the security guard schedule, please see the guard for issuance of a wristband during the check-in period.

If your temperature is greater than 100.4F you will told to leave campus.

Check-in is available Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM

Upon arrival, you must check-in at the entrance where a security guard will verify your Daily Health Assessment Confirmation Code.
  • If you take your assessment from a computer and are unable to access your confirmation code on your phone, please either take a photo of the confirmation code to show or write it down and utilize the sign-in sheet provided.
  • There will be paper assessments available if needed prior to entry.

The security guard will then take your temperature and issue you a wristband if your temperature is under 100.4F

If you arrive on campus prior to the security guard schedule, please see the guard for issuance of a wristband during the check-in period.

If your temperature is greater than 100.4F you will be told to leave campus.

Check-in is available Monday and Wednesday 8:00 AM to 12 Noon; Tuesday and Thursdays 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Campus safety protocols at Atlantic Cape

Atlantic Cape has enacted numerous safety protocols in order to keep visitors safe. These measures include but are not limited to 

  • Sanitizing frequently touched surfaces and common areas
  • Implementing hand sanitizing stations across each of our 3 campus locations
  • Installing plexiglass barriers between staff and visitors for transactions
  • Social distancing and mask requirements for our campus locations
  • Remote learning/work opportunities and staggered schedules to reduce the amount of people on campus
